How to Commission a Painting 

1. Share Your Vision: Send me a reference photo (or several!) of what you'd like painted. If you don't have specific imagery but have an idea, that's great too—let's brainstorm! Email me at WhitneyMontondoArt.com

2. Creative Direction: Let me know if there's a vibe you're after. Is there a past piece of mine you adore? A color palette you dream of? Your input helps me capture your vision perfectly.

3.) Pick Your Size: Select the dimensions you'd like for your painting. Pricing depends on size and can be found on the chart below! 

4.) Set the Timeline: Need it by a special date? Typically, I request 8 weeks from signing the contract, but I'll adjust if I can!

5.) Secure Your Spot: A 50% non refundable deposit secures your commission and covers materials and initial work.

6.) Collaborate on Concepts: If needed I'll create a few composition ideas to explore different artistic directions. Once you approve, the real magic begins!

7.) Review the Completed Piece: I’ll share photos of the finished painting, and you’ll have up to two revisions (within reason) to make sure it’s just right.
